Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.
Events That
Tell a Story
A glimpse into the stages Divya has hosted across 7+ years.
The muhurtham runs the show. Everything else needs an anchor.
Chennai weddings do not bend for a schedule. The schedule bends for the muhurtham. An anchor who cannot work with that will make your wedding feel rushed.
Chennai families take rituals seriously. The Nischayathartham, the Nalangu, the Muhurtham, the Saptapadi, each one has its own timing and its own weight. An anchor who treats these as background content to fill time will visibly clash with the atmosphere.
The other side of a Chennai wedding is the reception. Once the rituals are done, families want a real celebration. The couple’s OMR office colleagues want a proper party. Divya makes that shift without it feeling like a different event started.
Chennai also has a growing number of mixed weddings, Tamil families marrying into North Indian families, and the guest list shows it. Divya keeps the script bilingual without making either language feel like the main one and the other like subtitles.

Captured Moments,
Timeless Memories
Events, photography & videography — every moment beautifully documented.
Two Chennai weddings, two things nobody planned for
The grandparents wanted to say something.
The bride’s 78-year-old grandfather asked to speak at the reception. His Tamil was strong; his English was limited. Half the room spoke neither.
“Divya translated his words live, line by line, keeping his pace and his emotion intact. She did not summarise. She translated.”
The room went completely quiet. People who did not understand a word still cried. That is how good the moment was.
The rain hit at exactly the wrong time.
An outdoor sangeet on ECR, 200 guests, open lawn setup. The clouds had been building since 7 PM and at 8:45 the rain came.
“Divya moved the crowd indoors over the mic in under three minutes, called for the DJ to switch to an acoustic playlist, and started an unplugged antakshari while the team shifted the setup.”
The guests were laughing and singing while the rain poured outside. Nobody left early. A few said it was their favourite part of the night.
Three things Chennai families bring up on every call
Not buzzwords. The actual things that come up when we talk to Chennai families before a booking.
Respects Ritual Timing
The muhurtham does not wait. Divya coordinates with the priest before the event, understands the sequence, and never puts a microphone moment where it does not belong.
Bridges The North-South Divide
Half the room knows the Tamil customs; the other half does not. Divya narrates what is happening at the mandap in a way that educates without interrupting, so both sides feel included.
Handles The Unexpected Without Panic
Rain on an outdoor ECR setup, a power cut at the reception, a delayed priest. Chennai weddings throw curveballs. Divya treats each one as a logistics problem to solve, not a crisis to announce.
