Two Lucknow weddings, two moments that needed more than a script
The flash mob nobody had briefed her on.
The groom’s cousins had rehearsed a 50-person flash mob for three weeks. They had told everyone except the anchor. The DJ had the track. The brief was just: make sure the groom is facing the stage at 9:45.
“Divya called a round of couple trivia at 9:40, positioned the groom exactly where the cousins needed him, and handed the DJ the cue without the groom noticing anything.”
The flash mob landed perfectly. The groom genuinely did not see it coming. The cousins still talk about how cleanly it was pulled off.
The bride’s outfit tore backstage 20 minutes before entry.
