Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.
Events That
Tell a Story
A glimpse into the stages Divya has hosted across 7+ years.
A traditional crowd that watches the small details.
If the host says the wrong name with the wrong tone, the elders will notice. And remember.
Mazagaon is old Mumbai. The families who book a hall here are usually third or fourth generation in the neighbourhood. The grandfather knows the caterer, the caterer knows the priest, and the priest knew the bride when she was three. A loud, hype-style anchor reads as disrespectful in this room within ten minutes.
Divya hosts these weddings in a softer register. Hindi for the general crowd, Gujarati when the Bohra side is being addressed, English for the younger cousins, and a careful, slow delivery for any ritual moment. She gets the family tree before the function so the introductions go right the first time.
Timing matters too. Thaal seating runs on its own clock, Nikah readings cannot be hurried, and Catholic ceremonies follow the priest, not the playlist. Divya works around all of that. She steps in when she is useful and steps back the rest of the time.
Captured Moments,
Timeless Memories
Events, photography & videography — every moment beautifully documented.
Three things that matter for this crowd
Heritage families notice everything. These are the three things that have closed the booking.
She gets the running order right
Thaal first or speeches first? Nikah before dinner or after? Divya reads the family’s brief and follows it. She does not improvise the sequence on stage.
Three languages, none of them forced
Hindi and English are the easy ones. The Gujarati and the careful pronunciation of community-specific names is where most hosts fall short. Divya has been doing this long enough to get it right.
Old halls, clear voice
Heritage venues have walls that bounce sound. Divya does a sound check before guests arrive and paces her speech so the back of the hall hears the same thing as the front.

Questions Mazagaon families ask first
Direct answers. No marketing.
Yes. She has hosted Bohra Nikah receptions, managed Thaal seating sequences, and worked with community elders on the running order. If your family follows a specific protocol you want respected on the mic, send it across before the date. Call +91 9136323270 to walk through it.
Burhani College grounds, Richardson and Cruddas spaces, local Jamatkhanas, and the smaller community halls tucked into the Byculla-Mazagaon belt. She is also familiar with the Catholic Gymkhana side and a few private bungalow venues in the heritage lanes.
Older halls echo. Divya works with the on-site sound engineer before guests arrive, sets her own mic levels, and adjusts pace so announcements land clearly without bouncing off the walls. No yelling, no muddy speeches.
It depends on the number of functions, the size of the gathering, and how much custom scripting you want. A single Nikah reception is priced differently from a three-day Bohra wedding. Call +91 9136323270 or email [email protected] for a number.
Community halls and auspicious dates close out fast. Three months ahead is comfortable. If your date is during peak Bohra wedding season, reach out earlier.
