Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.
Events That
Tell a Story
A glimpse into the stages Divya has hosted across 7+ years.
An open-air wedding where the audio system has to actually reach 2000 people.
The version of a wedding where the room is not a room.
Vidyavihar is built around the Somaiya campus, and most large weddings we run here are on the Somaiya grounds or similarly scaled banquets. The families tend to be large Gujarati and Jain joint families, with guest counts that routinely cross 1500 and sometimes 2000. The wedding stops being indoor at this scale. The hosting has to be planned around an open-air audio system, ambient wind, and a stage that the people at the back of the lawn can still see.
Before the function, we walk the venue with the audio team. Speaker reach, monitor levels, and mic placement get agreed on with the engineer who will actually be running the desk. The room that looks fine at the soundcheck at 4pm often does not work the same way at 9pm with 1800 people in it. The walkthrough surfaces that early.
The family tree at this scale also matters. The parents sit with us beforehand and confirm names, relationships, and pronunciations for every senior elder who needs to be acknowledged on stage. Forgetting an uncle at a 2000-person wedding is a problem that the family remembers afterward.
Captured Moments,
Timeless Memories
Events, photography & videography — every moment beautifully documented.
Three things Vidyavihar families actually check for
The brief most families would write if they sat down to write it.
Audio walkthrough at the actual venue
Open-air weddings at the Somaiya scale need the audio team and the venue manager to agree on speaker reach and mic placement before the function. We walk it with them.
Family tree confirmed in advance
At 2000 guests, forgetting a senior elder is the problem the family remembers. Names, relationships, and pronunciations get confirmed by the parents before the function.
Gujarati for the elders, Hindi for the bridge
The Gujarati and Jain elders are addressed in their language. Hindi is the bridge across the rest of the room. The languages are mapped to segments and to who is on stage at the time.

Questions Vidyavihar families ask first
Straight answers. No dodging the details.
Yes. Vidyavihar weddings on the Somaiya grounds regularly cross 1500 to 2000 guests. The team plans audio reach, stage placement, and crowd movement with the venue and audio crew beforehand so the function does not lose the room halfway through. Call +91 9136323270 to talk through your wedding.
Somaiya Vidyavihar Grounds, Neelkanth Kingdom Banquets, Fatima Church area grounds, the Ghatkopar-border premium banquets, and Jain community venues. Each one has its own operations setup the team is already familiar with.
Yes. Vidyavihar weddings often involve large Gujarati and Jain joint families with elders on both sides who expect to be addressed in their language. Our team hosts in Hindi, English, Marathi, and Gujarati, switching depending on which family is on stage.
A 2000-guest open-air reception is priced differently from a single haldi for 200. Pricing depends on function count, guest count, and venue. Call +91 9136323270 or email [email protected] for a quote.
The Somaiya grounds and large area banquets fill up four to six months ahead for winter dates. Reach out early and we will confirm availability the same day.
