Dronagiri sits next to JNPT, the country’s largest container port. Most weddings here are 1000 to 1500 guests at JNPT Township clubs, Uran-side resorts, or CIDCO open grounds, with guest lists that combine local Agri families with port and shipping executives. The location of the venues means the truck and commuter flow around the port is part of the planning problem.
The run-sheet builds in 15-minute buffer segments at three points. The baraat will be late, the bride’s side will arrive in waves, and the catering team will be holding service for one of those groups. The script plans for these as defaults rather than as exceptions.
