Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.

Vizag has beach venues and a guest list
that no other city puts together.
Telugu families who have been here for three generations. Navy officers posted here from Gujarat. Steel company professionals who moved from UP. All in the same hall.
Visakhapatnam is not a destination wedding city in the way Goa is. People actually live here. The families celebrating at Novotel Varun Beach or Taj Bheemili are not on holiday. They are in their own city, celebrating with their own community, which means the expectations are very specific.
The guest list at a premium Vizag wedding is genuinely unlike any other city’s. Telugu families with deep local roots sit alongside Navy and defense households who were posted here and may be from anywhere in India. Alongside them are professionals from RINL, HPCL and the pharma corridor who moved here from the north or west. These communities have different customs, different humour registers, and completely different ideas of what a well-run wedding evening looks like.
The beachside venues add a layer that indoor banquets do not have. The sea breeze off the Bay of Bengal at Bheemili is not gentle on outdoor microphones. Outdoor ceremonies timed for late afternoon work differently when the light at this latitude shifts faster than it does in Mumbai. Divya prepares for these specifics before arriving, not after.
Hindi and English are the working languages at most premium Vizag wedding events. Divya does not host in Telugu, and the brief is always upfront about this. What the brief covers is the specific community structure of your guest list so the programme works for everyone in the room, in the languages that actually reach them.

Two Vizag weddings
that Divya remembers
The groom’s father had commissioned three ships in forty years with the Navy. His son was getting married in the city where his career began. Divya used that in the opening.
Reception at Novotel Varun Beach. The groom’s family was Telugu, three generations in Vizag. His father was a retired Navy officer. The bride’s family had moved here from UP when her father joined HPCL twenty years ago. Two communities with deep local roots and completely different backgrounds in the same hall.
During the brief, the groom mentioned his father almost in passing: he commissioned three ships in forty years of service. He was never late. Not once.
“Divya introduced the father by rank during the programme and said: in forty years of service, he was never late. Tonight his son is on time too.”
The Navy side of the hall responded before the Hindi-speaking side had fully registered what was said. The Seethammadhara ladies in the front row who had watched that officer grow up in the city started applauding. Then everyone else followed.
The groom’s father had to look away. It was two sentences from a brief detail mentioned almost as background. That was the moment the whole hall became one room.
The sea breeze at Bheemili was making the outdoor ceremony difficult. Divya turned the wait before the pheras into the best-photographed moment of the day.
Outdoor phera ceremony at Taj Bheemili, 180 guests on the beach-facing lawn. The Bay of Bengal wind was real. The sound engineer was having a difficult afternoon with the outdoor mics. The priest’s arrival had pushed everything thirty minutes late. The guests were seated on the lawn with the sea in front of them.
Divya asked the family one question before the ceremony started: how many guests in this hall had been to Bheemili beach before today?
Most hands went up for Vizag in general. Very few for Bheemili specifically.
“She asked everyone to take thirty seconds and just look at the water. She said: most of the people in this hall came to this stretch of the Bay of Bengal for the first time today, specifically because of these two people.”
The sound problems were forgotten. The family stopped watching the clock.
The couple has photographs of their 180 guests looking out at the sea. Nobody planned that moment. It came from thirty seconds Divya had to fill while the priest was being seated.
What it takes to hold
a Vizag beach venue wedding together
Three things specific to this city’s premium weddings.
Beach venue logistics prepared for before arriving
The Bay of Bengal sea breeze at Varun Beach and Bheemili affects outdoor sound in ways that don’t apply to indoor banquets. Outdoor ceremony timing shifts when the schedule runs late into different evening light. Divya prepares for the specific layout of each beach property and its practical challenges during the brief call, not on the morning of the event.
Brief built for Vizag’s specific community mix
Telugu families with generations in the city, Navy and defense households from across India who are posted here, industrial and pharma professionals who relocated from the north — these communities sit together at premium Vizag wedding venues and want completely different things from the evening. The brief covers the specific mix in your hall, not a generic crowd profile.
Finds the detail in the brief that changes the room
The Navy officer who commissioned three ships in forty years and was never late to one. That was a detail mentioned almost as background during the brief call. Two sentences in the programme opening changed the energy of the entire hall. Details like this come from a thorough brief, not from a standard hosting format. Divya prepares for every booking by finding the specific thread that belongs to that family.

Anchor & Host Pricing Packages
Pricing that's easy to understand. Every package comes with a script written specifically for your family, your crowd and your day — nothing recycled, nothing generic.
These are starting ranges. The final number depends on the venue, number of functions and what the event needs. Reach out on +91 9136323270 or at [email protected] and we'll come back with an exact quote same day.
What Vizag families ask
before booking a wedding anchor
Straight answers. No hedging.
Vizag bookings are priced per function, not as a flat package. A single reception at Novotel Varun Beach and a multi-function wedding at Taj Bheemili are two completely different briefs. Flight and accommodation are included in the quote at the start with nothing added after. Call +91 9136323270 or email [email protected] to discuss your specific event schedule.
Divya has anchored at Novotel Varun Beach, The Gateway Hotel, Taj Bheemili Resort, Radisson Blu and The Park Visakhapatnam. If your venue is not on this list, a short call will confirm whether she has worked a similar outdoor or beachside format before.
Yes. Divya anchors in Hindi, English, Marathi and Gujarati. Many Vizag families at premium venues specifically want Hindi and English hosting. Families with mixed Hindi and Telugu backgrounds, Navy and defense households and the large non-Telugu professional community settled in Vizag are the core audience. The brief covers the specific language needs of your guest list so nothing gets lost.
Beach venue ceremonies at Vizag properties have specific practical challenges. The sea breeze off the Bay of Bengal affects microphone performance outdoors. Outdoor ceremony timing shifts when the schedule runs late into different light conditions. Divya prepares for the specific layout and contingencies of each beach property during the brief call, not on the morning of the event.
We cover all of Visakhapatnam including MVP Colony, Seethammadhara, Rushikonda, Beach Road, Madhurawada, Gajuwaka, Bheemili and Siripuram. Divya flies in from Mumbai for all Vizag bookings. Travel is agreed at the time of booking.
