A significant share of them happen inside the family’s own full-floor apartment or penthouse, not at a hotel or a club. 100 to 200 guests, the building manager has been briefed, the domestic team has prepared for two weeks, and the goal is that the wedding looks like an unusually elegant dinner party rather than a function the family hired vendors for.
That changes the anchor’s job entirely. There is no proper stage. The mic setup is light. The PA cannot be club-grade because of residential noise rules after 8 PM. Divya works from the corner of the living room or the edge of the terrace, on a condenser mic or fully unplugged, and the family’s domestic team handles the floor in a way no hotel banquet captain would.
