Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.

Tell a Story
A glimpse into the stages Divya has hosted across 7+ years.
Gujarati is the working language, not the courtesy language.
Old-money Jain and Gujarati families, traditional rituals, and an anchor who treats both with real fluency.
Walkeshwar is the absolute pinnacle for Mumbai’s Jain and Gujarati business families. The community is tight, the wealth is old, and the weddings still run on Jain muhurat clocks rather than convenience dates. Banganga ceremonies still happen, heritage bungalows go back four generations, and many of the families on a typical guest list have known each other since their grandparents’ time.
Gujarati fluency matters more here than in any other SoBo pocket. Not as a token courtesy at the start of an English script. As the working language for the entire ritual segment. The dadi’s blessing is in Gujarati, the priest’s narration is in Gujarati, the family roast at the sangeet is in Gujarati, and the anchor has to flow with all of it without sounding translated.
Jain dietary and ritual protocols are also real, not optional. Pure-vegetarian kitchens, dry-bar segments at certain functions, dietary briefings that go out two weeks before the menu is finalised. Divya works inside the family’s protocols. The hosting respects the absence of certain elements rather than working around them, and the energy stays at full reception register without leaning on cocktail jokes.
Captured Moments,
Timeless Memories
Events, photography & videography — every moment beautifully documented.
Three things that matter for this crowd
Walkeshwar families have been hosting weddings inside the community for four generations. They know the difference between fluent and rehearsed.
Gujarati as the working language
Not the polite Gujarati line at the start of an English script. The whole evening if the room asks for it. Divya hosts entire rituals in pure Gujarati with the vocabulary and rhythm the elders grew up with.
Jain protocol fluency
Pure-veg kitchen, dry-bar segments, muhurat-driven scheduling, Sajan-Goth or Pratishtha rituals that need explanation for cross-community guests. Divya works inside the protocols, not around them, and the family does not have to brief her on the basics.
Brief-led preparation
She comes to the planning calls with notes. Family history, kuldevi name, ritual specifics, which relative is speaking and roughly what they’ll say. The night runs cleanly because the prep was done off-stage.

Questions Walkeshwar families ask first
Straight answers. No dodging the details.
Yes. Gujarati is the working language at most Walkeshwar weddings, not a courtesy switch. Divya hosts entire ceremonies in pure Gujarati when the room asks for it, including the Sajan-Goth and Mangalashtak introductions. The dadis and the nanis lean in. The whole evening flows on the language the family actually speaks. Call +91 9136323270 to discuss.
Heritage bungalows across the Walkeshwar stretch, the Banganga-side lawns, the Jain community halls in the area, and exclusive sea-facing properties along the lower Walkeshwar Road. Most weddings here are at the family’s own bungalow or at a community-affiliated venue.
Yes. Walkeshwar Jain weddings follow real protocols. Pure-vegetarian kitchens, dry-bar segments at certain functions, muhurat-driven scheduling, and rituals like the Pratishtha or Sajan-Goth that are unfamiliar to non-Jain guests. Divya works inside the family’s protocols rather than against them, and translates rituals for cross-community guests in a way that respects the tradition.
It depends on the number of functions and the format. A bungalow Sajan-Goth runs differently from a sea-facing reception with 400 guests. Call +91 9136323270 or email [email protected] for a quote tailored to your wedding.
Walkeshwar dates lock in five to six months out, especially around auspicious Jain muhurats. Many of these weddings have ritual schedules planned a year in advance. Lock Divya in as soon as the date is set, with a 50% advance.
