Wedding Anchor & Host — Every Function Covered
Every wedding function hosted with the right energy, warmth and preparation for your family.
Mehendi & Haldi Anchor & Host
The first family gathering of the wedding. Divya keeps the energy warm and personal without over-producing it. Close family, real moments, and a tone that carries through to the rest of the wedding.
Sangeet Night Anchor & Host
High energy, both families involved, performances and games running together. Divya is at her best here. She reads when to push the energy and when to pull it back, and she has turned one-sided shows into full family face-offs.
Wedding Ceremony Anchor & Host
From the baraat entry to the varmala, every moment announced at the right time with the right weight. Rituals held with respect, not rushed. If the baraat runs late, the crowd never knows.
Wedding Reception Anchor & Host
Large guest lists, mixed crowds, tight timelines. Divya manages the full reception flow — couple entry, family introductions, speeches, performances and the first dance — without anything running over or feeling rushed.
Engagement Anchor & Host
The first time both families are in the same room. Divya sets a tone that carries through to the wedding itself. Warm, personal, and never formal for the sake of it. The right start makes everything else easier.
Destination Wedding Anchor & Host
Goa, Udaipur, Karjat, Lonavala. Divya travels across India for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are discussed transparently at booking. Destination weddings are among her most requested bookings every year.

Old Shivajinagar
does not respond well to wedding-anchor cliches.
The first time someone says “let’s give it up for the bride and groom” loudly, half the room visibly flinches.
Shivajinagar is old Pune in a specific way. The family bungalows along Model Colony lanes have been on the same plot since the 1950s and 60s. The Council Hall is around the corner. The grandparents read Lokmat with their morning chai and remember when FC Road was actually a quiet stretch. The anchor needs to belong in that room without sounding like they belong at a Mumbai wedding instead.
The crowd mix is the other Shivajinagar thing. The bride’s grandfather might be a retired district judge. The bride’s college friend might be flying in from San Francisco. Both of them have to feel addressed during the same ceremony. Divya runs Marathi for the elders and English for the NRI side, with Hindi where it fits. The shift happens between sections, the way a conversation actually moves, not the way a wedding-anchor script forces it.
The other thing about Shivajinagar is the venue range. A heritage club one day, a forty-year-old family bungalow the next, an FC Road banquet for the reception. The hosting style has to change with the room. Divya does the walk-through at each venue, marks where she will stand and how loud the room can take, and writes the script to fit the space, not the other way round.
Captured Moments,
Timeless Memories
Events, photography & videography — every moment beautifully documented.
Three reasons
this neighbourhood keeps calling back.
No fluff. Just the parts that matter.
Real Marathi, not phonetic Marathi
Shivajinagar elders can hear within thirty seconds whether the host actually grew up around the language or read it off cue cards. Divya’s pronunciation is correct, the phrasing is warm rather than newsroom formal, and the grandparents stop watching her after the first minute.
She matches the volume of the venue
A bungalow courtyard cannot take the same hosting style as a five-star banquet. Divya reads the room first, walks the venue, and calibrates the volume and the energy so the hosting fits the space. No shouting at a Model Colony aunty. Ever.
A long brief, not a quick form
Before every Shivajinagar booking, Divya calls the couple. Family histories, bungalow stories, which uncle should not be given the mic. Forty minutes of questions. The script is built from those answers. Not from last weekend’s template.

What Shivajinagar couples
actually ask us first
Straight answers. No hedging.
Yes. Divya has worked the heritage clubs near Shivajinagar, the FC Road banquets, and the old Model Colony bungalows many times. Each of these settings has its own rhythm; club halls run on member protocol, bungalows run on family memory. The script is built around whichever venue the family has chosen.
Yes. This is the typical Shivajinagar wedding now. Sacred moments run in pure Marathi for the grandparents and the local priests. Welcome announcements and reception flow run in English with Hindi mixed in for the cousins flying in from abroad. The shift happens section by section, never mid-sentence.
Model Colony and the older Shivajinagar lanes have neighbours who have lived next door for forty years. Divya hosts these weddings at the volume the lane can carry. The script is warm and audible without being loud, and the late-evening segments switch to acoustic or unplugged formats well before any neighbour complaints can begin.
Yes. Some of the best Shivajinagar weddings are sixty guests in a Model Colony living room. Divya treats those bookings with the same brief call and the same script preparation as a 1000-guest reception. The hosting just runs softer.
For peak season dates at the heritage clubs and the Model Colony bungalows, two to three months ahead. December and February weekends fill faster. A short call confirms availability and a 50% advance holds the date.
